Get to know the Watermans

Married for 20+ years, Linda and Reen Waterman light up a room with their captivating and invigorating faith that energizes, inspires, and motivates others to draw closer to God. Meeting at the Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference over 22 years ago, they quickly discovered that they shared the same passion to “write, speak, and help others.”

They minister together by hosting marriage conferences, teaching discipleship classes, leading life groups, counseling others, and connecting with individuals through one-on-one discipleship gatherings. Their “Your Refreshed Life” radio program and podcast allow them to merge their writing and speaking skills to reach out and touch the “Your Refreshed Life” community “for such a time as this.” 

Linda, a national conference speaker, gifted communicator and award-winning    author’s background is in women’s ministry. Motivated by her desire to “passionately pursue purpose,” she guides others to discover and experience their life purpose. As a paid women’s ministry director, life coach, author, consultant, trainer, and radio personality, Linda influences women nationwide. Her under-graduate degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Gordon College and master’s degree in Journalism and Communications from Regent University enhances her ability to communicate Biblical truth practically and fervently.

Reen, with his successful business background in marketplace ministry, shares a similar desire to ignite men’s passion for God, and for using outdoor activities to draw men together. (As he is quick to say, “Guy to guy leads guy to God.”) With a master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Capital Bible Seminary, Reen combines insightful Biblical concepts, practical coping strategies for dealing with life’s challenges, and a light-hearted humor that allows people to absorb and apply transformational truths.

Linda and Reen live in Chattanooga, Tennessee and enjoy watching boats on the river, weekly “date nights,” traveling, playing marathon Scrabble games, going to movies, and spending time with their three grown children Ruthie, Cera, John, and daughter-in-love Amy, and three their grandchildren John Jr., Caroline, and Wyatt.
